Water hazard? What water hazard? Oh, that water hazard. Bubba Watson shows off his new go-anywhere hovercraft golf cart.
Is Bubba Watson the coolest golfer of all time?
The 2012 Masters champion has in recent months wowed fans with his pink clubs, natty fashion sense and a penchant for pranking CNN’s Piers Morgan.
Now the 34-year-old American has left the golfing world open-mouthed with the debut of his hovercraft golf cart.
Despite the promo video being released dangerously close to April Fools’ Day, Watson and co-creators Oakley insist the vehicle is not a prank.
Footage uploaded to the pro's YouTube channel shows the cart gliding across the green as it floats on a cushion of air.
It's already attracted an army of fans, who insist it will be the future for transporting players — as it can go anywhere on the course without tearing up the grass.
With a footprint "33 times lighter than the human foot," the BW1 can reportedly navigate any area of the course with absolute ease."You take it anywhere you want to go. Through sand traps, through water hazards. Into the woods, out of the woods," Watson says in the promo video.
